This page covers Deckwren’s games for Android and this website, deckwren.com. It says what each one keeps, who else handles it, and how to ask about it or complain. For anything on this page, write to hello@deckwren.com.

The games

Deckwren’s games do not collect, send or share any personal data. You play without an account or a sign-in, and the games show no ads and sell nothing.

A game keeps these on your phone only, in the app’s own storage, so it remembers them next time:

  • your settings (the computer’s level and speed, the number of players, sound, vibration, large cards, the house rules you chose);
  • your statistics (the games you played and won);
  • a game in progress, so you can pick it up where you left it.

None of it leaves your phone, and we cannot see it. Clearing the app’s storage in Android’s settings, or uninstalling the app, deletes all of it. The games ask for no permissions: not your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files. If your phone backs up its apps’ data to your Google account, that backup is between you and Google.

If a later version ever adds advertising or a purchase, this page will say so before that version is published, with what it collects and the choices you have.

This website

  • No analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels, and no cookies of our own for visitors.
  • Like every web server, ours writes a line for each request (the page asked for, the time, your IP address and your browser’s name). We use it only to keep the site running and to stop attacks, and it is deleted after at most eight days.
  • Cloudflare sits in front of the site and stores its images. It delivers the pages and blocks attacks, so it handles your IP address and the request on their way through. If Cloudflare has to check that a visitor is a person, it may set a short-lived security cookie for that check (Cloudflare’s privacy policy).

When you write to us

Mail to hello@deckwren.com goes through Cloudflare Email Routing to the mailbox we read, which Google hosts. We use your message and your address only to answer you and to fix what you told us about, and we delete the thread once it is no longer needed for that.

Children

The games and this site are made for adults. They collect nothing from anyone, children included.

Your rights, and how to complain

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, at hello@deckwren.com. The games hold nothing of yours on our side, so in practice this means the mail you sent us. If you are unhappy with how we handled your data, complain to us at the same address: we confirm we have your complaint within 30 days and tell you the outcome. In the UK you can also complain to the Information Commission (ico.org.uk), and in the EU to the data protection authority where you live.

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
